#1. Cost of Living

Always weigh your options I always say, you might think that getting a well-paying job in the city is the best thing that will happen to you. But have you thought about the probability of that city having an inflated cost of living and at the end of the month, you will have nothing to show off for your hard work?

#2. Benefits

When applying for jobs, look out for the benefits that the company you are aspiring to work for can offer its employees. Weigh in your options and go for what best suits you. It can range from getting a paid leave, health insurance, or other built-in perks provided by the company.

#3. Opportunities

When choosing your career path, salary aside, I want you to have an in-depth thought on the kinds of opportunities your job might bring to you. Will it be so flexible that you can easily switch or will it be impossible to leave the industry? Even if you are okay with one industry, does your career give space for transferable skills?
